GENERAL

• Class credits for group courses may not be applied toward private lessons.

• Class credits are non-transferable and may not be assigned to another person.

• If a student uses credit toward a lower-priced class, the difference will not be refunded.

• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disruptive or poses a safety concern to other students or staff.

• Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

• Promotional offers and discounts cannot be combined, nor applied to class credits. Each discount is valid for one full-priced course only.

• Promo codes must be used at the time of checkout; we are unable to apply them retroactively.

• French Start Courses reserves the right to update its fees, terms, and policies at any time.

GROUP CLASSES (Online Only)

• As of January 1, 2025: Group class cancellations or transfer requests must be made at least 7 days before the course start date. After this deadline, no refunds or transfers can be granted.

• Incorrect level placement is not grounds for refund. A placement test and trial class are available to help you enroll at the correct level before booking.

• In the event of low enrollment (fewer than 3 students), we may:

  • Cancel or postpone the course

  • Combine levels

  • Adjust course duration
    In this case, students may request a transfer or refund.

• We reserve the right to change the assigned teacher at any time.

• Group classes are intended for adult learners (18+).

• If you miss a session, a recording may be made available. Recordings are archived and expire 30 days after the course ends.

• Workshop registrations are refundable up to 7 days before the event. After that, they are non-refundable and non-transferable. You may, however, let another person attend in your place.

PRIVATE LESSONS (Online & In-Person in Bangkok)

• Private lesson packages are valid for 6 months from the purchase date. No refunds, full or partial, will be given.

• You must notify us of any schedule change or cancellation at least 12 hours in advance (or by Friday 8 PM Bangkok time for weekend/Monday classes). Late cancellations will be deducted from your package.

• Booking/rescheduling requests made outside these timeframes cannot be accommodated.

• For two-person private lessons, the rate is 1.5x the standard price.

• In-person lessons in Bangkok are available — rates and availability may vary. Contact us directly for more information.
